Liam began playing at the age of eleven. He was awarded the Ewen Stewart Trophy for outstanding achievement in music from Invergordon Academy. He is a highly qualified musician with a Bachelor Of Arts with Honours in Applied Music and is now studying with the University of the Highlands and Islands for a Master of Arts degree in Music and the Environment. He thrills crowds with his range of original songs and classic covers which showcase his lighting fast, finger picking style.  

Whenever he takes to a stage he seamlessly blends his guitar playing, humor, emotion and commanding stage presence to engage a range of audiences. This was seen in his appearances at the Celtic Connections festival, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and the Perthshire Amber to name but a few. Liam's music is influenced by such artists as Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits and Tommy Emmanuel. He is also a regular guitar tutor giving lessons to all ages and abilities.
